Foundation for Alternative Energy (FAE) is Slovak  non-governmental organisation committed to environmental protection through the promotion of sustainable energy development.

Established in 1991, FAE's main objectives are to promote awarenesss, knowledge and use of renewable energy technologies.

Since 1995 FAE serves as INFORSE Europe co-ordinator.

FAE is working in the framework of the largest Slovak environmental organisation - Slovak Union of Nature and Landscape Protectors.
